2017 has come to an end, as you would probably know. It is never too late to look back at the year, so here are my 5 best moments of 2017.
1. Aventador on track
This year I was fortunate enough to attend my first ever trackday in the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 at Autoropa Racing Days in Sweden. Those two days are the days I talked about the most this year, so this should definitely be my top 1. If you haven’t read about my experience yet, I really recommend you to do so.
2. Summer roadtrip
I’m not the type that flies to a sunny destination and sits at the beach for three weeks straight. So this year we did a 5500km roadtrip from Norway to Italy and back. Despite all the setbacks we had during the trip we definitely had a blast. At some point we even had to spend the night on the highway.
3. Cars & Coffee Norway
2017 has been a year of many firsts and organising an event was no exception. I remember flying to Oslo in March for a meeting with Cars & Coffee and in May we hosted our first event. Without this event the two memories above would have never happened. The best part about organising an event is meeting all kinds of new people with different backgrounds, so I am really excited for our next event!
SuperCarSunday was the first car event I ever attended and has become an annual tradition, so 2017 was no exception. This year I decided to focus on enjoying the trip instead of trying to capture the moment through my camera, mainly because I didn’t get press accreditation. But the event was a success and definitely deserves a spot on the list.
5. Smile per Mile
Cars, photography and people are one of the many things I love and this event brought it all together. Nothing beats entertaining kids by doing something you love. I learnt you don’t always have to travel to foreign countries to attend one of the craziest events, sometimes they are right around the corner. In this case in Helmond.
